Cause for Celebration: Tatyana McFadden

As part of our Cause for Celebration series presented by PNC, in 2026 we are highlighting athletes with disabilities who have reshaped sport through excellence and determination. This week, we’re celebrating Tatyana McFadden, one of the most accomplished wheelchair racers of all time.

Tatyana is a 20-time Paralympic medalist, including multiple gold medals, and a dominant force across distances on the road and track. She has won the Boston, London, Chicago, and New York City Marathons multiple times and made history by sweeping all four major marathons in a single year. Her speed, consistency, and competitive fire have set the standard in wheelchair racing worldwide.

This week, and all year long, we celebrate athletes who redefine what’s possible. Tatyana McFadden is a true champion, trailblazer, and inspiration!
