The Course
Known for being extremely flat and fast, this course will have you flying through the streets of Downtown Peoria for your new PR! Featuring only 168 feet of elevation change and 7 total turns, your only obstacle will be how fast your legs can turn.
Running through the heart of the city, you start on NE Washington St. and hop onto NE Madison Ave for a straight away taking you all the way to the 2 mile turn around at Glen Oak Park. Once turning onto Main St., athletes will experience one of the most epic finishes to a race with a 5 block downhill stretch ending at Main St. and Water St. on the Peoria Riverfront.
The current record for men was set in 1995 by Josphat Machuka of Kenya (running 17:24) and by Delilah Asiago of Kenya (running 19:28).
