Cause for Celebration: Sara Hall

As part of our Cause for Celebration series presented by PNC we are honoring Sara Hall! One of the most accomplished distance runners in American history!

Sara owns 10 national titles, was the top American finisher at the World Athletics Championships this summer, and is the former American half marathon record holder with a blazing 1:07:15 in Houston. She has been the runner up at the London Marathon twice and is the second fastest American woman ever over the marathon distance with a time of 2:20:32. Her resume also includes two victories at the Mastercard New York Mini 10K and the rare distinction of being the only athlete to win the Mini 10K the 5th Avenue Mile and the Dash to the Finish Line 5K.

From cutting nearly 22 minutes off her marathon debut to becoming one of the most versatile and decorated road racers of her era, Sara continues to inspire with grit perseverance and heart!
